Introducing Startup Stories!

Last years StartupMuster report that biggest challenge facing startups is customer acquisition. This just formalised what I have been hearing when speaking to entrepreneurs in Australia and abroad, there are so many fantastic ideas from people who viagra online usa are experts in their field but have little experience in taking a product to market and getting customers to purchase.

Unlike many other skills required in the startup world, lean product management, development, design, development, etc sales is a dark art that people are still struggling through in isolation. There are several groups that have emerged to help people share their stories, like SalesHacker.com & fullfunnel.com.au and a wealth of content on the latest tips and tricks but the element still missing is the real stories of how fellow founders, CEO’s, leaders are using those tips and tricks to overcome their unique customer acquisition and revenue generation challenges and there are plenty of them!

Every startup’s situation and challenges are unique to their market and customers but there is a lot we can learn about how these people are addressing their own business challenges, which is why I have committed to creating a series of interviews with B2B founders, CEO’s and sales leaders to share their stories so that we can all learn a new perspective on how we can tackle our own challenges.

The interviews aren’t going to be anything too serious, will be conversational and no longer than 15 minutes and everyone will be asked four questions;

  1. What is your elevator pitch?
  2. When did you first realise this is a problem that needed to be solved?
  3. What does your current revenue generation setup look like now? ….think people, process, technology
  4. What is the biggest challenge you face generating revenue

We already have 3 interviews down and are actively looking to speak to more B2B technology startups who would like to share their story, if you know anyone who would like to join the chat – please let me know or get them to contact me at andy@sellx.global.

Keep an eye out for my next post where we kick off the series with the CEO of LeadChat, Gary Tramer. And boy did we kick off with a bang! Gary is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to startup sales and he provides some fantastic tips to scale your outbound customer acquisition.

I hope you are all as excited about this as I am!
